Why Roost exists
Roost was started by someone who owns a home in a professionally managed building and pays a service charge for it. Asking who was responsible for what, and finding the paperwork that proved it, was slow and frustrating, for everyone involved.
That is the whole story. We have no background in property to boast about, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we do have is a close view of what it feels like when nobody can find the right document.
What we are building
A calm place for UK landlords to keep their certificates, see when each one runs out, and talk to their tenant. Tenants are free. Landlords pay £60 a year for each property, and that is all.
Roost does not collect rent, reference tenants or give legal advice. It does one job: when someone asks for a document, you have it, and it is in date.
Who is behind it
Roost is made by Morado Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. Your documents are stored in the UK, and you can read exactly how we handle your data on our Data & Privacy page.
